Located in a remote town surrounded by Kakadu national park, the Mercure Kakadu Crocodile Hotel is strategically located within a 6-minute walk from the Jaibru Golf club, 6 km away from the Bowali Visitor Center and just 8 km away from Jaibru Airport.
The hotel gets its name because it has the shape of a crocodile. All rooms are furnished in traditional dark wood with aboriginal artifacts and has access to paid Wi-Fi as well as in-room tea and coffee making facilities. An upgrade is totally worth it as you will get a room that has direct access to the hotel’s courtyard too.
The hotel lounge is adorned with taxidermied crocodile and other native artifacts. Other hotel facilities include all-day bistro/bar, outdoor pool, sundeck and parking space.
